Check for donation options through your workplace

Many workplaces offer easy ways to support local organizations through annual United Way campaigns.  Use code 996270 to direct your donation to the Oakmont Carnegie Library’s Job and Career Center, a collection of materials designed to assist patrons in making educated career choices.

Make a Memorial Donation
If you are interested in donating money for books or other materials as a memorial for or tribute to a loved one, please come into the library or call us at (412) 828 – 9532 for more information.  Checks should be made out to the ‘Oakmont Carnegie Library’. 


Book Donations
We also accept donations of gently used items for our book sale.

  • Hardcover and paperback books in good condition will be accepted
  • Audio books, CDs, and videos / DVDs will be accepted
  • Magazines will be accepted (no older than a few months)
  • No mildew, stains, rips, odors, yellowing pages or missing covers
  • No encyclopedias
  • No textbooks

    A receipt for tax purposes is available upon request.
