Many workplaces offer easy ways to support local organizations through annual United Way campaigns. Use code 996270 to direct your donation to the Oakmont Carnegie Library’s Job and Career Center, a collection of materials designed to assist patrons in making educated career choices.
If you are interested in donating money for books or other materials as a memorial for or tribute to a loved one, please come into the library or call us at (412) 828 – 9532 for more information. Checks should be made out to the Oakmont Carnegie Library.
We also accept donations of gently used items for our book sale.
- Hardcover and paperback books in good condition will be accepted
- Audio books, CDs, and videos / DVDs will be accepted
- Magazines will be accepted (no older than a few months)
- No mildew, stains, rips, odors, yellowing pages or missing covers
- No encyclopedias
- No textbooks
A receipt for tax purposes is available upon request.
