Our Library has several meeting room options for public use.
Small Meeting Rooms


We have one study room with a table and four chairs as well as our ‘Genealogy and Local History Room’ which can fit up to two individuals for studying and/or tutoring, etc. You may call the Library at 412-828-9532 to check on the availability of these rooms and reserve them for reasonable time period free of charge. You may also walk in and check with the front desk to see if they are available for immediate use. Please refer to our Meeting Room Use Policy for further details.
The Oak Room

The Oak Room is our large event room used for Library events. When not in use by the Library, this room is available for non-profit, for-profit, and special event use by outside parties. The space can hold up to 65 people. Please refer to our Meeting Room Use Policy for specifics in advance of room reservation.
To reserve the Oak Room, please call the Library at 412-828-9532 to verify the availability. If the room is available, fill out the Meeting Room Use Application, and mail or drop it off at the Library along with your fee (fees applicable to for-profit and social events only). Checks should be made payable to ‘Oakmont Carnegie Library.’ Mailing address is: 700 Allegheny River Blvd., Oakmont PA 15139.
