
The Oakmont Carnegie Library offers many services to our patrons.
We have a collection of of 37,000 items that includes books, large print books, periodicals, music CDs, books on CD and mp3, DVDs and Blu-Ray disks, local history and reference resources. We offer digital media as well, including eBooks. We also provide free access to online databases, the Microsoft Office Suite and the internet, and serve as a wireless internet location. We also offer photocopying, scanning, and fax service.

The library’s membership in the Allegheny County Library Association (ACLA) and our association with the eiNetwork enables library card holders to borrow materials from all the libraries in the county from one location. All you need to access all of these resources is a free, valid library card from an Allegheny County library.
To register for a card, you must show proof of identification and proof of your current address. Children under 18 will need a parent or guardian to sign for them.
