Change to Library Services – due to COVID

Oakmont Carnegie Library

Because of concerns for the safety of library staff, patrons and our broader community, Oakmont Carnegie Library will be rolling back services to Lobby Pick-up service only, effective Thursday November 19. Our Grab-Go kits will also be available for children in the lobby.

Starting on Thursday, November 19 there will be no in-person library services which includes library browsing, computer use and purchases from the Squirrel’s Nest bookstore.

You may place items on hold either online or by calling the library at 412-828-9532 during the following hours:

Mondays – Saturday between 10am-2:00pm

And evening hours Tuesdays & Thursdays between 4pm-8pm

With a valid library card, the library is open to you 24 hours online to access our digital resources which includes books, audio items including music, films, and databases for research.  Go to:

https://oakmontlibrary.org/blog/apps/ to access these resources.

Library staff will be available via phone to assist with online resources and questions may have. You can contact us at 412-828-9532.

Thank you for your continued patience during this difficult time.
