It is time again for the 2019 Oakmont Library Annual Appeal.  Your library has collaborated with the Allegheny County Library Association (ACLA) to obtain matching funds for donations. Matching funds are prorated based on results. 

Your financial commitment helps our littlest neighbors develop literacy skills, while helping teens and adults participate in and contribute effectively to their community, government, and society.  Your Oakmont Library is a place to connect with one another through social books, films and discussions.

Because of your support, your library has:

  • Added performers, programs and speakers for all age groups
  • Upgraded reading materials for all age groups
  • Purchased a Smart Board, robots, and enhanced learning materials for babies and preschoolers
  • Continued outreach to those neighbors with visual or physical limitations and

.     Achieved silver stars for library service from the Commonwealth of
Pennsylvania.

Here are some easy ways for you to donate:

· United Way campaigns offer easy ways to support local organizations. Use United Way code 996270 to direct a donation to the Oakmont Carnegie Library’s Job and Career Center

· Participate in the Lions Club/Oakmont Library Touch a Truck fundraiser Sunday
Sept. 22 from noon to 3pm. $5:00/ adult person  (children under 12 free)·
